Maintenance Technician: New Realm Brewing Virginia Beach

New Realm Brewing Company is hiring a maintenance technician to assist the Engineering and Maintenance department in creating a maintenance-oriented environment for future growth. Maintenance technicians perform many different tasks to install, repair, troubleshoot and maintain all equipment owned and run by the brewery. This includes, but is not limited to, brewing and process equipment, utility equipment, packaging equipment, facilities equipment, and warehouse equipment.

• Work well with others to determine repair/maintenance schedules in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, overhaul, lubricate, disassemble/reassemble and repair as needed equipment including: Pumps, Valves, Heat, Exchangers, Filters, Gearboxes, Fillers, Seamers, Packers, Electrical Equipment as required and able to do safely!
• Perform clean-up, painting, and housekeeping duties.
• Interpret schematics and equipment manuals.
• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Software to Receive and print daily work order assignments, track and enter time work against work orders, create repair work orders as needed to correct issues in plant system.
• Identify and improve unsafe work practices or procedures.
• Assist in creating SOPs, GMPs, and a preventive maintenance plan.
