Mill Creek Brewing Company, located just outside of Nashville in Nolensville, TN, is hiring a Full Time Production Assistant/Packaging Leader.
The Production Assistant/Packaging Leader is responsible for assisting in the production and packaging of beer and seltzers. This position reports directly to the Head Brewer.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain all safety and quality standards set by Mill Creek Brewing Co.
- Operate all packaging equipment
- Adhere to the packaging schedule set by the Head Brewer
- Operate a 5 filler Cask ACS 4.2 Line and Seamer
- Perform can seam checks
- Perform seamer adjustments
- Switch line between 16oz and 12oz settings
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Cleaning and maintenance of packaging equipment
- Organizing and Tracking of Packaging Inventory
- Prepare and load orders for distribution
- Log packaging information immediately and accurately
- Preparing raw materials for production
- Milling grain
- Graining Out
- Assisting with Cellar Duties
- Washing Kegs
- All other duties as assigned
Required Skills
- Mechanical aptitude a must
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Ability to work in a fast paced, high pressure situations
- Strong attention to detail
Physical Requirements
Must have the ability to frequently lift 50lbs to shoulder height and push or pull 160lbs. Must be able to stand, walk, use hands, reach, climb, work from heights, stoop, squat, kneel, and crouch for long periods of time. As well as work near moving parts and machinery in loud, wet, hot, cold, indoor and outdoor environments. Must work safely with hazardous materials.

- Supervisor(s): Owners, Operations Manager, Head Brewer
- Minimum Education: High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Required
- Minimum Experience: Brewery or Beverage Packaging, and Warehousing experience is strongly preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate
- Age Requirement: Must be 21yrs or older
- Must be able to learn and operate: Brewery equipment, Pallet Jack, Forklift, Scissor Lift
