Assistant Mead Maker/Mead Ambassador
Part Time/Full Time
Redstone Meadery, purveyor of fine meads (honey wines), is looking for an Assistant Mead Maker. This role is part time but can be combined with Mead Ambassador for a full time position.
Prefer experience in production, cellar work or brewing/wine making/distilling but not necessary.
We need a person who is hard working, trustworthy and dependable. Mechanically apt, willing to learn and can lift 60 LBS buckets of honey.
Production work includes but is not limited to:
Making mead (pouring honey)
Transferring mead
Cleaning tanks
Fruiting and spicing
Bottling/kegging
labeling
Mead Ambassador responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Conduct tastings of mead for customers
Excellent customer service
Standard retail tasks: open/close, clean, stock, maintenance, etc…
Shifts: 3-5 shifts a week: Back House/Front House
