Warehouse and Inventory Specialist (Full-time) at Celis Brewery in Austin, TX

Celis Brewery is looking to hire a full-time Warehouse and Inventory Specialist to manage order picking, truck loading, order delivery, assisting with inventory cycle counts, general organization, and forklift-use-related tasks.

Reports to: Logistics/Supply Chain Manager

Core responsibilities and duties:

• Prepare distributor orders ahead of pickup
• Record all warehouse movements and keep product location maps and inventories up-to-date
• Take primary responsibility for all forklift work, especially during production runs
• Check in and examine all inbound shipments and materials deliveries and compare with manifests, packing lists, invoices and purchase orders to verify accuracy
• Perform weekly material and finished goods inventory cycle counts
• Develop or improve inventory management procedures
• Work closely with Logistics/Supply Chain Manager to ensure timely fulfillment of distributor orders and accurate inventories
• Verify /perform a variety of other tasks related to receiving, storage, delivery, issue, and movement of material with minimal supervision
• Cross train to support shipping and production as needed
• Assist with packaging line by palletizing and other related duties as required
• Other duties as required

Qualified candidates will possess the following:

• Forklift experience is required
• 1-2 years of previous warehouse or production experience
• A very strong attention to detail is absolutely critical
• Strong organization skills, self-directed work day
• Ability to multi-task and respond to changing priorities and goals
• Ability to lift 55lbs to approximately waist high and tilt or push up to 200lbs
• Ability to work for extended periods of time in a physical setting, requiring extended standing, lifting, twisting, and being exposed to hot and cold environments

Pay is dependent upon experience. Benefits include paid time off, paid holidays, company contributions to provided health insurance, dental and vision insurance, and beer allotment.
