We are the largest craft brewer in Hong Kong. We have a team of 15 that runs a 35HL DME brewhouse with tank capacity of 1,200HL. Packaging on a 12 head CFT canning line and 12 head Leibinger bottling line.

Job Title: Packaging Manager
Primary Responsibility: A Packaging Manager oversees all employees operating in the packaging team and responsible for equipment maintenance and function. At current production levels, the Packaging Manager will spend 40% of his time overseeing employee operations, 40% of his time on the floor assisting with packaging activities on the canning, bottling, and kegging lines, and 20% of this time assisting with other brewery operations. The brewery currently operates on a CFT 12 head rotary canning line, 12 head Leibinger rotary bottling line, and a 2-head keg washer.

Job Description:
Job Title: Packaging Manager

Job Responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Work with Head of Packaging & Head Brewer to co-ordinate the packaging schedules for the brewery.
- Provide insight into labour needs for packaging to the Head of Packaging & Head Brewer.
- Review efficiency and consistency of packaging operations to determine what changes can be made to improve operations.
- Co-ordinate with Logistics Manager to ensure that inventories and procurement requirements of all packaging materials are met.
- Operate troubleshoot, and maintain all equipment on kegging, bottling, and canning lines.
- Address all product quality issues immediately and stop line if issues can’t be corrected quickly.
- Help review and maintain accurate and detailed daily run logs.
- Maintain a clean, orderly and safe work environment within department as well as entire facility.
- Lead, develop, and hold accountable packaging team members with a focus on safety, quality and efficiency.
- Participate in regular staff meetings to review issues and propose solutions.
- Ensure high standards of quality control and work with Head of Packaging and Head Brewer to solve problems with regards to any quality issues.
- Contribute and be receptive to continual innovation and improvements.
- Assist Head of Packaging in ensuring that all packaging related SOPs are up to date and being followed.
- Assist in other departments or perform other tasks as needed
- Love for craft beer.
- Proper use of PPE.
- Must have excellent communications skills.
- Ability to delegate, lead the packaging team by example and make difficult decisions when necessary.
- Attention to detail is a must.
- Ability to multitask.
- Previous experience in a brewery or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Work full-time: 9 hour shifts 5 days a week as a minimum.
- Work location: Sha Tin (Fo Tan), New Territories, Hong Kong SAR
- Annual Salary Range: USD 40,000 - 48,000 based on experience.
