JOB DESCRIPTION

Bottle Logic Brewing is hiring a full-time Packaging Technician to join our rapidly expanding production team! We have a shiny new brewhouse, additional tanks, and a rotary bottler to learn and work with. Our pilot system gives us nearly unlimited flexibility in exploring the boundaries of beer. With your help, we will be able to brew more of our fantastically flavorful beers, including our award-winning barrel-aged stouts. YOUR ROLE WILL INCLUDE, BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO:

• Packaging of beers into cans or bottles.
• Cleaning, cleaning, and more cleaning, both inside and throughout brewery grounds.
• Operate aspects of packaging including quality checks, labeling, palletizing, and movement of finished materials.
• Obtaining the proper authorization to package a beer. Documentation of key quality parameters and verifying that beer meets specifications.
• Prepping equipment beforehand to effectively utilize team time.
• Ability to troubleshoot packaging equipment and communicate issues to management.
• Keeping production areas clean and organized at all times.
• Communicating with management and other packaging team members on the status of packaging.
• Organize, track, and audit inventory of bottles, cans, crowns, labels, and all other packaging supplies.
• Building the Bottle Logic brand through promotional activities (festivals, beer dinners, etc.).
• Shipping and receiving deliveries.
• Washing, filling, palletizing and storing kegs for use.
• Ingredient prep work.
• Other brewery-related tasks that may require assistance.
• Any other duties delegated to by a supervisor/manager.

CANDIDATES MUST POSSESS:

• Must be in good physical condition and able to maneuver in confined spaces.
• Ability to sit/stand/bend/walk and maintain manual dexterity for the duration of the work period.
• Must be able & willing to work morning, midday, overnight and/or weekend shifts.
• Able to lift 55 lbs. and maneuver at least 165 lbs., and work in extreme hot and cold environments.
• Extremely high level of attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong overall understanding of safety procedures, regulations, and requirements.
• Communicate clearly and concisely with respect to all Bottle Logic’s personnel at all levels, in addition to customers and suppliers.
• Clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• 21+ years of age, and the ability to pass a criminal background and illegal drug test.
