We are looking for a Packaging Manager to help us install and operate our new Pneumatic Scale Angelus Rotary Counter-Pressure canning line. The right candidate will bring experience with setting up a line and the team to make it happen.

Job Description
We are looking for a Packaging Manager to help us install and operate our new Pneumatic Scale Angelus Rotary Counter-Pressure canning line. The right candidate will bring experience with setting up a line and the team to make it happen.
Duties Include
- Keep a clean and safe working environment
- Manage and plan all facets of packaging operations
- Maintain rigorous quality standards at all times, ensuring measures like DO are within standard
- Clean and maintain all packaging equipment using CIP chemicals and hot water
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
- Work with Operations team to plan weekly and monthly packaging schedule
- Keep rigorous maintenance planning and records
- Meticulous records keeping
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Troubleshooting and situational assessment skills
- Experience packaging various types of beverages with wide range of considerations
- Applied knowledge of packaging theory
- Other duties as assigned in the brewery
Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Prior people management experience is a plus
- Previous packaging line setup experience strongly preferred
- Able to drive a forklift and operate other industrial machinery
- Ability to work in a flexible and fast-paced environment without losing attention to detail
- Positive and results-oriented attitude
- Ability to work both independently or in a group/team
- Ability to work in a challenging physical environment, including hot, cold, and wet conditions
- Regularly lift up to 50-55 lbs and move up to 170 lbs.
