    Responsibilities
    • Ensure continuous operation of process equipment through active operator management, process monitoring and troubleshooting.
    • Complete daily and weekly tasks using Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) to ensure sustained and repeatable quality and overall performance results.
    • Actively mentor, coach, and hold accountable Packaging Operators as it relates to safety, quality, productivity, continuous improvement and team harmony.
    • Audit operator performance to ensure quality inspection of product are being completed per the SOP’s
    • Ensure cross-training of team members, improve use of all available resources, and overall team proficiency.
    • Effectively communicate job knowledge and process changes to the operations team members and management through various forms of daily communication (shift handover meeting, daily production meetings, email, action logs, work orders, etc.).
    • Drive preventative and routine maintenance program including operator checks and lubrication of machinery and equipment
    • Make certain that Safety and Quality are at the forefront of all activities for you and your team, including taking effective escalation measures for safety, equipment and/or personnel issues for immediate resolution.
    • Audit documentation to ensure it is completed which certifies completion of inventory checks, quality inspections, sanitation requirements, batch and blending production following SOP’s, and basic maintenance tasks.
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree in operations or supply chain preferred, Associates degree or 8 years relevant experience required
    • 5+ years of in a lead or supervisory role in manufacturing environment.
    • At least 3 years’ high-speed packaging line experience preferred.
    • Forklift experience a plus (certification not required)
    • Proven and effective use of technology such as MS office, Teams, OneNote, and email.
    • Bi-lingual English/Spanish, is a plus

    • Ability to lead well under pressure while staying true to the company values.
    The Packaging Supervisor will be fully cross trained in all areas and will be qualified to complete all tasks in the packaging, sanitation, quality and maintenance areas.

    Pay range 45k-85k
