The Family Jones Distillery in Loveland is seeing an entry-level, part-time packaging staff member. Familiarity with brewing or distilling is a plus, but we need someone who can work hard, learn, and be part of a team. This position will start at two or three days a week, but we are struggling to keep up and the right person could find themself in a favorable spot as we continue to grow.

A packaging staff member at The Family Jones is responsible for bottling finished product per the existing Standard Operating Procedures, as well as related cleaning, clerical/record-keeping work, and organizational tasks. As a part of a growing production facility, they must also be constantly seeking ways to improve speed, efficiency, and safety. While we strive to maintain a fun and friendly environment, distillery workers must also strive to set the tone within the company with a high level of professional conduct and attitude.

• Work effectively with the lead distiller, packaging manager, and other production staff to meet packaging needs.
• Operate forklift and other heavy machinery.
• Communicate well, both written and verbal.
• Maintain clean, safe, and orderly work areas.
• Work in a team environment.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and organization.
• High school diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate). College degree preferred.
• Experience in industrial environment preferred.
• Some experience in brewing, distilling or other fermentation-related work preferred.

• Able to stand for long periods of time (up to 8-10 hours per day).
• Able to lift materials up to 55 lbs. repeatedly.
• Able to work in an environment with high noise levels.
• Able to work with hazardous chemicals.
• Able to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (boots, gloves, apron, eye protection, etc.) as necessary.
• Performing job with and around moving machinery.
