Packaging Lead
This is a full-time position.
$20-$25 per hour depending on experience
+Health insurance/PTO/$100 bi-weekly promo card/free shift meals
3 months free rent for room in shared company apartment to assist in candidate relocation
REQUIREMENTS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead all aspects of packaging Waikiki Brewing Company beer into cans and kegs
Continually work to improve packaging efficiencies
Track and work to improve quality of product in package
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot Wild Goose Canning WGC 250 filler (experience on this particular machine highly preferred)
Maintain inventory of replacement parts, perform routine and periodic equipment maintenance
Keep packaging equipment and workspace clean and in excellent condition
Develop and execute Packaging’s KPIs and SOPs
Work with the Director of Brewing Operations to create and execute packaging schedule
Assist with cellar work, warehousing, and other production ops as needed
Follow SOPs while exercising good judgment to know when SOPs may need to be changed/improved
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Excellent communicator
Motivated teammate who will sees tasks through to completion
Mechanically oriented with a knack for problem solving on the fly
An adaptable and easy going team player who contributes to camaraderie and a pleasant working environment
Flexible to the ever-changing needs and schedule of a production facility
A love for craft beer and delivering excellence in everything they do
Hungry for knowledge and always looking to improve their skills
YOUR BACKGROUND
Proven success with good job history in previous roles
Background in brewery or beverage packaging and experience with Wild Goose Canning 250 machine strongly preferred.
Able to:
Work with heavy equipment/machinery
Lift up to 55 lbs and push up to 165 lbs
Follow SOPs
Bend, lift, reach, and stand on your feet for 10+ hours
