Brew Theory Boston- Packaging Technician

Brew Theory Boston is looking for a Packaging Technician team member to help in the operation
in canning and kegging all the beer that goes through the facility. The candidate should have
the drive to work in a fast-paced brewery and provide assistance in training additional
packaging team members. The Packaging Assistant will need to be able to follow detailed
instructions and standard operating procedures as well as provide feedback on revisions for
operating procedures, problem solve, safely handle chemical and sanitation products, move
between 50 and 100 pounds, and perform general maintenance.

What to Expect:
- Learn and lead Pack Out operations for canning and kegging operations
- Learn to operate canning and kegging packaging equipment as back up to the Packaging
Lead
- Inspect product and packaging quality with attention to detail
- Maintain accurate packaging logs
- Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot with Packaging Lead
- Safely use and handle chemical and sanitation products
- Comply with existing SOPS and make suggestions for revisions needed
- Work well with additional packaging operators and Packaging Lead
- Work safely and use personal protective equipment
- Provide training on Pack Out operations to additional packaging operators

Job Requirements:
- 1-2 years of packaging experience or equivalent manufacturing experience required
- Machine operating or manufacturing experience preferred but not required
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with a positive attitude
- Squatting, kneeling, crouching, stooping, twisting, continuous walking & standing, and
climbing ladders repeatedly.
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Available to work long and/or flexible hours
- Lift objects ranging from 50 to 100 pounds in weight
- Moving product with the assistance of a pallet jack or forklift
- Extended time in a loud industrial environment
