Packaging Associate

Packaging Associate
Reports to: Head Brewer
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operation of kegging line
- Position work on canning line
- Packaging preparation work
- Bottling spirits and RTD's
- Organization of packaging material inventory
- Preparing orders for distributors and sales/promotional staff
- Organizing and stacking of empty kegs
- Cleaning and organization of packaging and bright beer storage areas
- Assist in general brewery cleaning
- Other duties as assigned by manager
- High School Diploma
- Prior brewery experience not required
- Forklift certification a plus
- Flexibility regarding morning/evening shifts with the potential to work at other locations
- Ability to follow stringent sanitary practices, as well as CIP protocol.
- Highly organized individual who will take pride in maintaining a clean, well-functioning packaging area.
- Ability to complete repetitive movements frequently and repeatedly lift 55 lbs, and capable of regularly moving 150 lbs
- Commitment to ensuring safe completion of complex tasks
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment to accomplish tasks
- Ability to self-manage
- A passion for craft beer
- FT Hourly pay based on experience with PTO, insurance, and 401(k).
