Untold Brewing is a rapidly growing, independently owned craft brewery in Scituate, MA. Established in the Fall of 2017, we specialize in producing clean, high-quality ales and lagers that reflect the seasons, our history, and the South Shore community that we call home. At our coastal taproom, we create memorable experiences for locals and visitors alike, with an emphasis on hospitality and customer service.

We are seeking an energetic, positive, and quality-oriented person to join our growing production team. The role of Packaging Technician is an integral role in our brewing operations including canning line operation and inventory/supply management duties. The Packaging Technician will primarily be responsible for the operation and maintenance of our 4-head Wild Goose canning line.

Job Responsibilities

• Canning line operation and maintenance including routine clean-in-place (CIP) and adherence to canning and packaging SOPs.
• Perform necessary operations including filling (kegs and cans), keg wash operation, and exterior cleaning.
• Ensure product quality from brite tank to keg/can.
• Maintain inventory of clean cooperage (kegs).
• Perform ongoing cooler inventory management and product rotation.
• Ensure the production area is clean and organized at all times.
• Contribute to Untold’s overall mission and focus on quality, innovation, and sustainability.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of canning line operation experience is strongly preferred.
• Ability to multitask, follow operational procedures, and work independently.
• Fast learner with a willingness to learn new skills.
• Attention to detail in all areas.
• Team player with willingness to collaborate and work well with others to achieve team goals.
• Schedule flexibility.
• Ability to stand for 6-10 hours/day.
• Ability to lift objects greater than 60 LBS.

Preferential Experience:

• Knowledge of canning systems and operations (Wild Goose Preferred).
• Fork Lift, Pallet Jack operations (Certification preferred).
