We are an 8000 bbl per year brewery located in beautiful Red Lodge, Montana. Red Lodge has a population of 2500 and has a ski area and hiking, fishing, biking and boating all nearby.
In addition to beer, we process 50,000 gallons of cider made at our cider mill in Billings.
Packaging Technician – This position is full time, 4 x 10 hour shifts. Responsibilities include canning beer and cider, washing kegs with our semi-automated keg washer, and filling kegs with our volumetric keg filler. In addition, preparing for packaging runs and maintaining a clean workspace are part of the job. We can train on the job.
Requirements:
Standing and moving for long shifts
Picking up 30 pounds at a time
Working in a wet environment
Observing safety protocols
Operating a pallet jack
Keeping a clean workspace
Desired skills:
Forklift driving
Mechanical aptitude
Experience on a gravity can filler
Experience washing and filling kegs
Experience with cleaning chemicals and CIP
Compensation:
$16-$20 per hour DOE
