Shift: 2-3 days per week 7AM- 3 PM availability required

Port City Brewing Company is looking to hire a part-time production support team member! This role would consist of assisting production staff in the day-to-day activities necessary to elevate craft beer.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• On a rotating basis, perform routine bottling line work, such as loading operating supplies into assigned machines, ensuring smooth machine operation and alleviating problem situations.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor, such as housekeeping projects and line set-up.
• Ability to understand and follow SOP's.
• Ability to adjust to a changing production schedule.
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness in all operations.

Qualification Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Strong organizational aptitude and verbal & written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a cooperative environment, with a proactive, self-starting attitude.
• Strong focus on product quality, efficiency, and attention to detail
• Basic knowledge of the brewing process.
• Previous experience in a production brewery, food plant, or beverage plant preferred.
• 7 AM- 3 PM availability is required.

Physical Requirements:

• • Ability to regularly lift/carry products weighing up to 55 pounds.
  • Ability to work in an indoor or outdoor environment which may be loud, slippery, hot and humid, or cold.
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods, stoop, twist, turn, crouch, kneel, climb stairs.
  • Operate in a safe manner, including wearing protective eye / ear wear and gloves.
  • Use of production chemicals are also typical in this work environment.
  • May be required to work and direct in confined spaces.
