Armadillo Mobile Canning is looking for a reliable and trust-worthy individual to serve as a Canning Line Lead in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. As a Canning Lead, your job will take you to breweries throughout North Texas to can craft beer. The position requires flexibility in scheduling and occasional overnight stays as required. While part-time during training, this will become a full-time position.
Job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
-Preparing equipment for brewery operations and canning day
-Maintaining and cleaning equipment to Armadillo standards
-Managing the canning team at the brewery
-Responsible for all canning processes and operations at client's brewery
-Responsible for all quality control processes during canning day
-Other operational duties as required
Minimum Job Requirements:
-High school graduate
-Minimum 5 years previous work experience
-Working knowledge of brewery concepts and operations
-Passionate about craft beer
-Self-starter, eager to learn and take on responsibility
-Customer-driven, results-oriented and energetic
-Maintaining a positive working relationship with all clients and canning team
-Ability to problem solve and think on your feet
-Able to lift or move over 50 pounds
-Must have extreme attention to detail and organizational skills
-Demonstrated mechanical capabilities and knowledge of hand tools and pneumatic equipment
In addition to the above minimum requirements, the preferred candidate will have:
-Two years of college or skilled trades education
-In-depth knowledge of brewing, home brewer, or other demonstrated craft beer experience
-Brewery packaging, bottling, or canning experience
-Restaurant or food service sanitization experience
-Experience driving a box truck and clean driving record
