Packaging Specialist - Revolution Brewing - Chicago, IL

Revolution Brewing is seeking Packaging Specialists. The hourly position will be located at our production brewery in Chicago, IL. We have canning, kegging, and bottling lines and will cross train the incumbent on all lines, as well as new equipment as it gets added.

QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience on a canning or bottling line. Experience should include beverage or food industry, specifically with fillers, labelers, packers and sealers.
• Mechanical knowledge of proper use of tools and machinery.
• An aptitude for trouble shooting basic mechanical & electrical systems.
• Remain on your feet for the entire shift.
• Punctual every day with flexible finishing times.
• High standard for quality, attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Ability to work under pressure and under deadlines.
• Flexible work schedule. Looking for both 1st and 2nd shift candidates.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

• Able to lift 50-60 lbs.
• Able to climb ladders up to 20 feet.
• Able to work in an environment with high noise levels.
• Able to work with hazardous chemicals
• Able to frequently duck under conveyors/equipment.
• Able to climb stairs.
• Able to wear required Personal Protective Equipment.
