PRODUCTION ASSISTANT / CELLAR PERSON- West O Beer (100% IOWA BREWED)

West O Beer, now in it's fourth year, is seeking a full-time PRODUCTION ASSISTANT. We are located in West Okoboji, IA and border one of only three blue-water lakes in the world, West Okoboji Lake. We are passionate about exceptional craft beer and it shows. Our brewery has taken home the Gold for Sweet or Cream Stout at the 2014 & 2015 Great American Beer Festival. Previous brewery experience preferred but not required.

Requirements / responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- follow all safety instructions
- follow head brewers instructions
- keep production area clean
- follow CIP & SOPs to clean and sanitize tanks, equipment and kegs
- centrifuge operation
- bottle filling, labeling, boxing and palletizing
- keg filling and palletizing
- ability to lift 75 lbs repeatedly, and move kegs 165 lbs
- exposure to brewhouse operations
- be a fast learner
- attention to details
- ability to work in hot wet environment
- be passionate about craft beer
- able to speak to and interact with customers, sometimes in groups
