Marble Brewery is seeking a quality control lab technician at their flagship brewery in downtown Albuquerque, NM.
Job Description
The Quality Control Technician will be responsible for the day to day implementation of Marble’s quality program. Maintaining yeast cultures, monitoring active fermentations, performing various chemical tests, microbiological plating, tracking the dissolved oxygen content at various stages. The week’s quality activities will be summarized in a quality report and distributed to the management team on a weekly basis. Quality data should be analyzed to identify trends and patterns. The Quality Control Technician must communicate actively with the rest of the team, exhibit problem solving skills, and work to increase production of quality beer.
PREREQUISITES:
- Degree or equivalent experience
- Experience working in a chemical, microbiological, or medical laboratory.
- Ability to lift 30 lbs
- Willingness to work in environments that are cold/hot
- Ability to work well with a team
- Ability to work independently
- Good analytical, data analysis, and statistical skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Attention to detail
- Self-Starter
