Job Summary:
The Bottling Line Support supports the Filler Operators by completing tasks directed by the Filler Operators to keep the bottling line running smoothly.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Specifically, the responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following activities:
• Follow equipment SOP’s to assure quality is maintained
• Understand beer transfer protocols from various cellars
• Understand hygienic processes such as operating daily CIP’s and hot sanitizations
• Maintain beer quality by implementing hourly QC beer checks such as inline dissolved oxygen and total package oxygen readings
• Operate box forming equipment including a partition and carrier inserter
• Operate glass de-palletizing equipment
• Operate fully automated palletizing and pallet wrapping equipment
• Help the bottle line operator maintain all equipment
• Run drop packer and assure full labeled bottles are packaged into cases
• Run Slitter/Sealer to seal the cases of full beer
• Ensure proper packaging integrity by checking for a correct label on every bottle, the proper date on every case of beer, and each case is correctly sealed closed
• Be able to change over all bottle line equipment to different package configurations
• Troubleshoot faulted equipment
• Refill supplies such as packaging materials, labels, crowns etc.
• Clean-up labeler, filler, and packaging area at the end of shift
• Maintain package sanitation throughout all the packaging halls
• Other tasks as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent and prior manufacturing experience a plus, but not required. Will train on the job.
• Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
• Ability to complete simple math calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
• Ability to have high attention to detail, follow direction, be punctual and have good attendance.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand for the duration of the work shift and the employee must repeatedly lift and/or move up to 55 pounds.
