    Warehouse Coordinator

    Dry Dock Brewing Company, located in Aurora, CO, is seeking a full time experienced Warehouse Coordinator. Dry Dock is a growing company which operates two separate breweries, a 7 BBL tasting-room location (South Dock) and a 40 BBL production facility (North Dock). This position is for North Dock and reports to the Supply Chain Coordinator. Dry Dock is a regional brewery and will produce over 20,000 BBL in 2017.

    Job Summary:

    The Warehouse Coordinator will report to the Supply Chain Coordinator to ensure that the warehouse is managed efficiently. They will also work with the Packaging Manager, as needed, to assist with packing beer in cans, kegs, and bottles. This is a mentally and physically intensive position that requires exceptional motivation and excellent professionalism in the face of a demanding and fast-paced production environment. They will be safety-minded, efficient, quality-focused, have a great work ethic, a positive attitude and be part of the team.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Develop and implement a warehouse plan with the Supply Chain Coordinator.
    • Receive regular shipments from suppliers.
    • Prepare outgoing orders and shipments.
    • Stack pallets, cases, kegs and coordinate general warehouse operations.
    • Assist with maintenance of equipment including forklift, scissor lift and docks.
    • Troubleshoot equipment problems and assist in minor repairs.
    • Implementation of safety standards and good manufacturing practices, including training employees on forklift and scissor lift operation.
    • Alert management of potential quality or safety concerns.
    • Operate canning line, bottling line, and keg washer / filler equipment.
    • Perform additional duties as assigned.
    Preferred Experience and Skills:

    • Ability to multitask and manage time while being detail oriented.
    • Excellent troubleshooting skills.
    • Strong mechanical background.
    • Love of craft beer and knowledge of the industry.
    • Experience in forklift operation including training others.
    • Ability to drive a delivery truck not requiring a CDL.
    • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment as a leader and problem solver.
    • Ability to work at a fast pace, in high pressure situations, while maintaining professionalism and composure.
    • Flexible in schedule and adaptive to change.
    • Strong organizational skills.
    • Is generally happy and can have fun, even on high stress and demanding days.
    • Need to be self-motivated.
    • Ability to multitask and manage time while being detail oriented.
    • Reliable transportation.
    • Ability to follow oral and written instructions.

    Physical Demands
    • Must be able to lift 50 lbs to shoulder height and push or pull 160 lbs.
    • Must be able to work on your feet for 8 hours or more.
    • Must be able to crouch, bend, lift, twist and reach.
    • Must be able to work in hot, cold, wet, loud, and unpredictable environment.
    • Must be able to work around steam, electricity, harsh chemicals, and solvents.
    • Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a production-line setting.
    • Use their hands to perform fine manipulation, handle or feel, and must be able to reach with hands and arms.
    • Close, distance, color and peripheral vision as well as depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
    • This position may come into direct contact with hazardous materials such as chemicals, noise and equipment. Hazardous materials include CO2 as well as loud noises as part of the brewing process.
