Kombucha Town is looking for two full-time packaging employees to sign on this fall. Experience in production and/or food/beverage packaging is preferred. Pay DOE.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support the Lead in all packaging operations
- Knowledge of and safe, efficient operation of canning and peripheral equipment
- Ensure quality of all packaged product (cans, growlers, kegs)
- Thorough cleaning and sanitizing of interior/exterior of all packaging equipment and packaging hall end of each day
- Safe use of all hazardous chemicals
- Safe operation of all manual lifts
- Ability to maintain calm in a hectic, fast-paced, cramped work environment with retro-fitted equipment
- Ability to think on your feet and be creative
Application Requirements:
- Valid WA state driver's license
- Good attitude
- Strong work ethic
- Detail oriented and excited about perfecting repetitive tasks
- Sense of humor (super necessary)
- Full-time availability
Physical Requirements:
- ability to lift 70lb. chest height
- ability to lift 15lb. and rotate spine hundreds of times a day
- ability to work on feet majority of the day
