Strike Brewing Co., the Bay area’s fastest growing craft brewery, seeks to add a key contributor to an existing strong, talented team.
Position: Packaging/Warehouse Assistant
Reports to: Director of Operations
Duties:
* Perform all packaging functions including but not limited to: carbonation, racking, palletizing, bottling, & canning
* Assist with warehouse & inventory functions
* Keep raw material and finished goods organized
* Maintain an organized warehouse and walk in cooler
* Clean and organize manufacturing and warehouse work areas
* Follow procedures for all packaging process steps
* Follow procedures for all warehouse process steps
* Label & identify all product, returned goods and raw materials
* Safe work practices at all times
* Keep accurate and meticulous written records
* Clean & sanitize production equipment as required
* Assist brewing team as required
Qualifications;
* Self-starter, capable of taking initiative
* Previous commercial manufacturing experience desirable
* If not, ability to learn commercial mfg. expectations quickly
* Eager to learn and willing to ask questions
* Mechanical aptitude very helpful
* Interest in the brewing business an asset
* Hands on, hands on, and hands on
* Demonstrable ability at comprehensive and accurate record keeping
* Must be forklift certifiable
* Team player willing to pitch in
