Twin Monkeys is looking for an experienced Electro-mechanical Technician/Canning Line Operator/Service Technician/Trainer/Assembler that wants to make a difference for our customers and for our company by bringing our canning lines to life at customer sites around the globe. If you understand packaging beverages (foam, fill, CIP, seaming, etc) and can communicate that well to others, this may be your job.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assembling canning lines on the Twin Monkeys factory floor
Tuning canning lines prior to shipment
Travel around the world and train customers on the operation of the canners and on how to achieve perfect beverage filling in varying customer plants in varying beverage industries
Manage open service issues with a goal to quickly resolve them and prevent them from occurring again
Manages commissioning schedules and efforts
Manages can seam inspection efforts
Perform other duties as assigned
Has a positive, can-do attitude.
20-40% travel required
QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Ability to think and react in a high energy, fast paced environment
• Good organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines
• Strong electro-mechanical aptitude
• Effective troubleshooting ability
• Ability to recognize and react to changing work demands
• Effective team player with excellent interpersonal skills supporting a team environment Minimum Qualifications:
• Minimum of 1 year of related experience working with canning and bottling lines as an operator and technician
• Excellent building skills
• Strong ability to understand and complete technical tasks with minimal supervision
• Self-starter who can work independently and on several tasks/projects simultaneously
• Strong electro-mechanical aptitudes
• Effective troubleshooting ability
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with canning and bottling lines or 2 years of experience as an electro-mechanical technician
Work Environment
Standard manufacturing assembly conditions with much of the work done standing and the remainder done sitting
Regularly required to sit, stand, reach, bend and move about the office
Additional REQUIREMENTS to consider before applying:
This position requires frequent travel, within the States and abroad. Applicant must have a valid US Passport
Must be able to lift 55 pounds; • Must have the ability to regularly stand, walk, use hands, reach, climb, work from heights, stoop, kneel and crouch
