Packaging Operator
Job Responsibilities:
• Must be able to work well within a small team focus on a safety-first environment
• Safely and efficiently operate, maintain, and troubleshoot all packaging equipment (kegging, bottling, canning)
• Collaborate with other departments to maintain daily schedule
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization throughout the day
• Perform quality checks on bright tanks and packaged product, and accurately record results
• Understand the fundamentals of brewing and packaging processes
• Basic preventative maintenance
• Remain flexible and willing to help with any task around the brewery
Required Skills / Experience:
-Previous brewery/packaging experience a plus
-Understanding of common packaging concerns
-Mechanical aptitude and ability to problem solve independently
-Attention to detail
-Self-motivated
-Ability routinely adhere to SOP
-Ability to multi-task
-Positive attitude, desire to learn
-Willingness to work early mornings/nights/weekends as necessary
-Strong communication skills
-Passion for craft beer
Physical Requirements:
• Standing and moving for an entire shift (up to 8-10 hours per day)
• Ability to repeatedly move up to 165lbs during a shift
• Climbing/crouching/working in tight spaces
-Ability to work in hot/cold, loud and wet environments
