22 Northmen Brewing Brewery Manager. Alexandria, MN 56308

22 Northmen brewing is looking to hire a Brewery manager. As brewery manager your daily operations will focus on the customer experience and managing staff. Keeping a well-organized clean functioning tap room and happy customers is top priority. In addition, we would also like this person having a part of our beer program as well. This person should be a liaison between beer production, tasting room staff, and customers. Spreading beer knowledge and nuances of our program in a relaxed fun environment. This position will work closely with our head brewer brainstorming new recipes, techniques, marketing beers, label designs, beer events and whatever else we can think of to develop a robust beer culture. Cicerone certification or willingness to get certification immediately a plus. Home brewer, or brewery production experience is a big plus. This position needs to be able to monitor brewery operations during non/production days for example checking temps or gravities. There could be an opportunity to have a hand with aspects of production for the right candidate. Opportunity to create pilot batches for the right candidate. Our goal is to hire someone who is passionate about brewing, feel like they have a part in the program, and bring that knowledge and passion to our staff and customers.

22 Northmen is part of a parent company Bold North Cellars. We are located on a 160 acre vineyard and while the brewery is a year old, Carlos Creek Winery and its tasting room on the same property have been around for 20 years. Someone who also wants to acquire a background in wine is a plus. Valkyrie wood fired pizza kitchen is attached to the brewery. Also located on the property is an event space that hosts many events with the majority being weddings. This position will also require working closely with the different departments.

If you are a people person, love the craft beer culture, want a say in the beer program, and want to work with a highly motivated team this could be a great fit for you.
