Tasting Room Manager
Last Wave Brewing Co. is looking for a tap room manager to help run our bustling tasting room. This is a full-time, salaried position with incentives. The tap room manager will be in charge of the operation and growth of the tasting room and managing our staff of beertenders. We’re looking for a motivated, people person with a positive attitude to take care of the daily operations of our tasting room.

Last Wave Brewing Co. is looking for a tap room manager to help run our bustling tasting room. This is a full-time, salaried position with incentives. The tap room manager will be in charge of the operation and growth of the tasting room and managing our staff of beertenders. We’re looking for a motivated, people person with a positive attitude to take care of the daily operations of our tasting room.
Responsibilities
- Organize and set schedule for beertenders on a monthly basis
- Manage a staff of 3-10 people on a nightly basis, including assigning shift duties and assisting staff during peak times
- Identifying and implementing ways to Improve efficiency of staff and customer experience
- Gathering positive and negative feedback from the staff and customers and communicating it to ownership
- Trained in Alcohol handling procedures (TIPS certified)
- Hiring and training new staff in accordance with Last Wave Brewing requirements
- Running pre-shift meetings to ensure staff is armed with knowledge of available beers and understands duties for the day
- Making sure pre-shift and post-shift cleaning procedures are followed
- Keeping track of merchandise inventory and reporting to ownership
- Weekly meeting with ownership to prepare for weekend
- Weekly website updates
- Beer menu
- Merch
- Monitoring online orders and stock
- Input on social media posts
- Event Management
- Assisting in booking/selling private events and packages
- Staffing for events
- Working with clients on setting up event space for their specific needs

Requirements
- 3-5 years experience in Taproom/bar/restaurant industry
- 1-2 years of managerial experience in hospitality industry
- Ability to work Wednesday – Sunday on a weekly basis
- Must be comfortable standing on feet for up to 8 hours at a time
- Some heavy lifting of kegs may be required
- Good attitude and friendly personality
