    Taproom Manager
    Job Title:Taproom Manager
    FLSA Status: Exempt
    Reports To: General Manager
    Pay Range: $40,000-60,000
Benefits: Paid Vacation, Medical Benefits, 401k, 5% Equity Vesting
Who we are: Intrepid Brewing Co is an exciting new, locally owned, and operated craft brewery in historic downtown Greensboro, North Carolina. We are serious beer nerds and will execute our unique and original product line with the highest quality ingredients, state-of-the-art technology, the latest brewing practices, and the best ingredients available. Our core values include a dedication to top quality, honest transparency, earnest candor, operational excellence, and personal growth. We strongly believe that these five core values are crucial for enabling our team members to flourish and grow.

Get to know this role: You’ll wear many hats as the Taproom Manager at Intrepid Brewing. From scheduling and training to event coordination to driving sales through creative promotions, you’ll be responsible for helping us achieve our company goals. Our goal is to be the most admired brand in Greensboro first, then beyond. We will be canning almost from the start, and in our second year, we will purchase a canning line. We expect Beer to Go in cans and crowlers, as well as drafts at our patio serving station leveraging the new Social District in downtown Greensboro to be significant revenue drivers for the taproom.

Our taproom is the face of the brewery, introducing craft beer enthusiasts and novices to Intrepid Brewing and our products as a key part of our business. To ensure this first customer experience is a positive one, we are dedicated to providing the best possible service and hospitality to ensure our guests are made to feel welcome in a fun and relaxing environment.

The Taproom Manager will initially be a 'player-manager,' serving in many of the roles that will ultimately be staffed by members of his/her team. Our beloved Taproom Ambassadors serving our products are the first (and primary) taproom roles with which our guests will interact. The Taproom Manager's main charge is implementing procedures and creating a general environment wherein those Ambassadors can flourish. Additionally, the Taproom Manager is responsible for overseeing the continuous improvement of our guest experience and implementing guided direction given by the General Manager. This includes a strong presence on the floor and the ability to enforce policies and keep all team members accountable to our service standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with extensive hospitality experience and an interest in developing progressive culture through top-quality craft beer and programming.
