  • Thinking about distilling

I have a microbrewery and am considering doing some small scale distilling. I know almost nothing about the process am just starting to research it.
Are there any sites with good information. What size would be good? Price point of equipment?

ABE Craft Spirits Division can help

    Hi Nicahops,

I am head of the Craft Spirits Division at ABE. I too come form a brewery back ground and understand the lack of easy to find info (lets call it) Distilling.com offers a great deal of information for beginners as well as the American Craft Spirits Association.
You can Also contact me directly with any questions through our website ABEStill.com. I can help you whit the sizing of equipment as well as navigate through the sea of questions you may have about distillation.

MBAA recently did a webinar which may be online. Good overview introducing distilling to brewers. Free for members.

        A guide we're working on.

He there. We've actually been working on a pretty comprehensive guide for people interested in starting a distillery. It's a living document so we're always updating it with new information as the industry changes, but you can check it out here - http://distillingcraft.com/starting-a-craft-distillery/

I hope it's helpful for you and your endeavors!
