so we got some used 100gal barrels, just talked to the folks at bubba's and doesnt seem like they thought it worth the trouble to take volumetric measurements, make a template, sell a sticker, etc. kind of ridiculous in my mind, but whatever.
so before i go heaving bucket after bucket of water there i wanted to check and see if anybody on the forum might have done the work already? since its pretty much a straight cylinder my idea is that the volume steps should be fairly regular, i.e. 5 gals is 1 3/8 inches in height, etc. the ribs on the barrel will distort that a bit i guess but i've gotta think it should still be "good enough" for making some markings.
so there it is- if anyone has done it and willing to share, please do. my lower back will buy you a beer.
