  • Potential QC Issues with Storing Empty Cans in Freezing Conditions

We run a little brewery in Canada, and we had rented warehouse space which was climate controlled, however, it was cut by ownership as a cost saving measure. We have a dry enclosed space (seasonal restaurant) where we can warehouse some of the material from the previous site. I have had a hard time getting info out of our can suppliers on the risks associated with storing silver bullets in an environment which will hit -30C at times. Biggest concerns are condensation and integrity of the epoxy/poly barrier. Any advice is very welcome!

Try a can supplier company like Cask Canning, they have a lot of great QA/QC resources and they supply Ball Cans, which is another resource for them. I've had a great experience in dealing with them and they seem eager to help anyone in the industry. You might get a can sales pitch, but I bet they would have these answers as well.
