I have 20bbl brite tanks with 3 zones. As we get to the end of a batch I feel the top 2 zones are wasting energy and cooling especially since the insulation layer on these aren’t very efficient (a lot of sweating on the outside). by epsomdaveThe chiller has a High and low pressure gauge. I turn on the chiller and when the fan kicks on the high pressure gauge spikes to 600 psi , stops the machine and gives me a compressor overload alert. Low pressure is fine. Heat exchange is clean. by davidnI'm setting up a brewery in my pub, and am looking into chillers for the tanks. A brewer I know who is running a similar set up in Sydney has recommended a Kreyer Chilly Max unit.
