    Could you post some photos?

If you can post some photos it would certainly help us identify them.

Can you have the fittings cut off and replaced by TC fittings welded on? This is what we've done with some odd-ball fittings.

    Bevel seat fitting

Dairy processing tanks sometimes have bevel seat fittings/threads. Google "bevel seat fitting" to see if it looks the same as your dairy tank.

Probably should get a thread gauge to see if they are even NPT threads. Pictures might also help anyone here make a determination.

tri clamp adapters for dairy tank modifications

    Hello all,

I have purchased a 300 gallon square dairy tank and a 350 gallon round dairy tank to use as a mash tun and boil kettle. I have tried to order all sorts of fittings to connect to these outputs and nothing seems to work. I've tried a 1 1/2" sanitary female npt to 1 1/2" tri clamp, 2", 2 1/2" and nothing seems to connect. Are the dairy tanks a different pipe thread and does anyone know where i can purchase adapters for dairy tanks to tri clamp?
Working...
