Dumping NEIPA hops and yeast after cold crash
    by RiverRebel
    Greetings,

We have a 7bbl brewhouse, and after cold-crashing our new England style IPA's, we are having trouble with the majority of the hop matter sticking to the sides of the bottom of the vessels.

I cold crash in two stages, 50 degrees for two days (to remove a good amount...

    PBST Brewery Control system
    by RDS
I am looking for a brewery that is using the Pacific Brewing System's upgraded brewery control system. We had to replace the wireless module and need to get the settings that allow the wireless to talk to the PLC.
Please give me a call. Randy @ 859 Four Four Five 4292

    Its a long story...

    Chugger pump parts?
    by TGTimm
Our pilot system from Synergy Brewing came equipped with Chugger pumps with the auto-destruct impellers. I'm trying and failing to find the upgrade kit--or any parts at all--for these pumps.

Is Chugger Pumps still in business? Anyone know where I can find the X-Dry impeller kits for these?...

    Buildup on Tank Ports
    by bd72
    Hey guys,

We've noticed this buildup on a few of our year old tanks and haven't had any success in removing it. We've used PBW, caustic, and acid cycles on they as well as hitting it with some brushes and nothing seems to improve it much. Curious if anyone would happen to know what this...

    3/4" swing kettle filler
    by Onebadsc
I'm trying to come up with a way to fill two of my kettles from the top. They are next to each other and would like to use a some sort of swing arm (pot filler type thing) to fill one or the other. The problem is I would like to retain my 3/4 inch pipe size to get as much gallon per minute as possible....

Is it my grist? Low efficiency question.
    by Benzesp
Been trying to wrap my head around this since we've upgraded to to a RMS 2 roller mill and a 2017 ABE 10 BBL from a punk rock 3BBl.

My mash efficiency so far has been lacking around 75% with some of our basic no nonsense recipe's. I was assuming we'd easily be in the 80's as my old system...

    iStill - Distilling made easy
    by iStill
So ... instead of creating a whole host of topics related to distilling, I think it would make more sense to post multiple topics, related to distilling, iStill, and making distilling easier for the brewer. BTW, if you guys have any questions, related to distilling, please fire away. For now ... here's...
