Whirlfloc and Hazy IPA's

We still do. It helps drop crud out of the wort before it gets transferred through our heat exchanger. Haze in hazy IPAs generally comes from dry hops and yeast, although some will argue otherwise.

I still do at 15 mins like I do for every beer, I've seen no noticeable difference and I've got less junk going through my HX.

Was curious if you still are throwing Whirlfloc when producing Hazy IPA's. Seems counterintuitive but I know a lot of people still do. Thanks!Tags: None
