  • Cooling taps and choker lines

Hi, thanks in advance for your help. I am building a new brewery. We purchased serving tanks and are going to run about a 40 foot long draw system. I opted to build an insulated box with a stainless plate for my taps to mount to. My best idea is to cool that box by running the glycol though a small radiator with a fan on it. Does anybody have any better ideas?

Don't reinvent the wheel. You do not need a cold box if you have properly cooled python lines. Newer shanks are also cooled with close-coupling to the python glycol. There are other vendors who can help you, but I can highly recommend Micro Matic. They have solid answers.
