Beer baron Coors loses license for DUI

  • #2
While Mr. Coors has lost his drivers license, it's nothing compared to the story from the book Under the Influence. Haven't read it in a while, but as I remember it:
    - August Busch IV crashed a car while drunk in the early 80s
    - He had a 12-pack of Bud Light in the car
    - He had drugs (coke?) in the car
    - A girl died as a result (a passenger, a stray innocent?)
    - I think it happened around St. Louis, and he was never charged

    That's power.

    Anyone remember the details?

    Cheers,

While we are counting, can we tally the DUI's of Laura Bush, Geo. Bush and Dick Cheney?

        Eeech.....

Nice tossing your politics into a relatively political free forum there Moonlight.

geez.......its nice to have a place where you dont get political crap from EITHER side thrown in your face.

At least the original thread had something to do with this forum because both posts dealt with peolple in the industry.

Seriously, I dont wanna start a flame war on this, but really, can we stay on topic and discuss what we all have common interest in and love.....BEER!

I had a homebrewer friend who, uh, dry-hopped his Christmas beer with special, hydroponically-grown "hops".

Made for a holly jolly Christmas, I'll tell ya!

                Cheers, Tim

Maybe something akin to "Red Menace" from Hales?

Moonlight, you need not apologize. IMO it was a legitimate comment. If you are famous, your life's actions are scrunitized. If you are one of the country's leaders, even more so. I think the public would/should be way more interested in knowing that both Bush & Cheney have both had DUI's than Pete Coors.

Doesn't Romulan Ale have a blue hue? How would you brew it, with blue polenta? Would the color come through? Hmmmm...
