I was searching the web and came across your post about the Gebhard Brewery. I too have looked at the builing, but with the economy what it is my resources have dried up, I was also told that the building was under contract and see that someone has been doing some work around there, but I also found a new listing for the building and was told the deal fell through. Just wondering if it was you and if you are still working on a deal.

You ought to look into what they did with the old Stegmaier brewery in Wilkes-Barre. It was destined for the wrecking ball but a group of local brewery historians got it saved and restored into a federal office building, but they kept all the architecture and even the signage intact. The boiler house is a complete mess but I've seen plans to turn that into a brewpub.
