Removing water from cans post seam/rinse...
    by gitchegumee
Please share your success stories of how you remove can shower/rinse water from cans before packing into cardboard cartons. I'm tired of watching our guys wiping down cans with towels. Thinking of cans on their side on our conveyor with regenerative blower "air knife" as the cans roll by....

Can a neipa be too thick?
    by DWMiller
    Heya,
We have recently changed up our recipes and the beers have been really nice and thick. All kinds of wheat and oats.
The problem is the hops didn't drop out of suspension very well. Even after 4 weeks.
I spund so I am thinking that doesn't help so I might have to stop that all...

Carbon Filter, Chlorine, and NSF-42 Certfication
    by jabraben
We plan to install carbon filters for chlorine removal and we've had a recommendation from Ecolab for the "Twin Head" filter kit in this brochure which uses two of the T020 filters. The specs on the T020 filters themselves claim NSF-42 certification for chlorine reduction at 10 GPM. I've read...

    Isolating glycol jackets
    by Ashtownbrewing
I have 20bbl brite tanks with 3 zones. As we get to the end of a batch I feel the top 2 zones are wasting energy and cooling especially since the insulation layer on these aren’t very efficient (a lot of sweating on the outside). Has anyone isolated their top two zones and if so I am assuming you...

    Campdent Tablets for Chlorine Removal
    by jabraben
I'll be brewing on a small (1 bbl) system and I'm weighing the pros and cons of chlorine removal via campden tablets vs. activated carbon filtration. My impression is that most breweries use carbon filters for this purpose and I'd be interested in hearing why that is. I've read up on it but most of...
