  1. You can buy the chiller from Foxx Equipment. It is plenty of power to cool a 20bbl tank. 15 gallon glycol reservoir. We use them for both primary fermenters and bright tanks for packaging, up to 30bbl size. They aren't great but they get the job done on a budget.

    Hey copper kettle.
    Was just reading the post about the glycol chilling setup at your pub. You mentioned you had a 3/4 hp chiller connected to 2 10 bbl brite tanks for serving....Who manufactured this glycol unit and what model is it? How large is the glycol reservoir on this unit? What temperature do you try to keep these 10 bbl tanks at? Any other info you could provide on your experience with this would be much appreciated. Thanks!

    I am looking into whether a 3/4 hp chiller will be able to take one 20 bbl tank from about 80 F down to about 40 F within a day or so. If you are having success
