Plastic tri-clamp fittings source?

    Plastic tri-clamp fittings source?

    Does anyone have a source for an inexpensive plastic 1 1/2" Tri-clamp to garden hose sized barb fitting? I want to hook up a drain hose to a tri-clamp fitting and as it is not a sanitary situation I'd like to save my nice stainless fittings. A google search pointed me to some polypro fittings for pharmaceutical applications but, my, are they expensive!

    Any suggestions?

    Hi Mike,

    The plastic ones always seem to be more expensive because they are for specific applications in the pharma industry and there is not the benefit of the mass volume of production like the stainless ones.

    I would get a stainless steel B23BMP thermometer cap (About $20.00) and screw in a standard NPT x garden hose adapter from Lowes or Home Depot.
