Boojum Brewing Company is seeking positive and passionate candidates for a packaging & cellaring position.
ABOUT BOOJUM
Boojum Brewery is a 9000 sqft facility located in the beautiful mountains of Western NC. The brewery is in the town of Waynesville, NC, 30 minutes west of Asheville. We work with a 15BBL ABE brewhouse and use 15, 30 & 60BBL fermenters & a CraftBloc rotary 100 CPM canning line. We currently produce around 3500-4000 BBL of beer for our large, downtown taproom & the Western NC region. We produce over 20 different styles available in cans & on draft per year as well as numerous one-off and small batch beers. Boojum is a family owned and operated brewery that opened in January of 2015. On the brewery side, we are a small group of passionate, hard-working individuals who strive to create the highest quality, best tasting beer possible.
ABOUT THE POSITION
The Packaging Specialist (PS) is primarily responsible for making sure all beer is packaged on time according to the schedule and accurately and efficiently according to Boojum’s procedures. The Packaging Specialist will also often assist with cellaring and CIP duties.
As part of a small brewing team, the PS will have the opportunity to learn all aspects of operating the brewery including brewing & developing products from concept to larger scale production. Hours will vary depending on staffing and production needs, but generally follow either a 9 – 5 pm or 1 – 8 pm shift weekdays.
REQUIREMENTS
1+ years experience working in a comparable production brewery (If hungry enough to learn, this may be negotiable.)
Strong focus and attention to detail
Ability to juggle multiple tasks with efficiency
Positive Attitude
21+
