We just got a new 3-keg automatic keg washer from Premier, and I have a few questions for those of you who have one too:
What hot water temp are you using for the rinse cycles?
What sort of de-soiler are you using (caustic, PBW, CellarMaster, etc.?)
We got a system with a separate reservoir for an acid cycle...for those of you with this, what acid do you use and at what strength?
This next set of questions I should get answered from Rob, but he's busy with an install and I can't seem to get him, and we need to fire this baby up, so insight into these questions would help too (no manual came with it!):
-there seem to be two separate air infeeds--one for actual process air and one to operate the mac valves that run the machine through the cycles...do any of you out there run two separate compressors for this, or just split your air line?
-my unit has a very thin, long hose mounted to the top of the control panel marked "sanitizer, 8oz./min"...guessing we just submerge this in a bucket of (diluted) no-rinse sanitizer like 5-Star's SaniClean and it infeeds with the last rinse cycle. Is this right? What do any of you use and at what dilution amount?
Any insight into this unit would be much appreciated!
