kegs

Hello:
I'm looking into getting kegs; 1/2 and 1/6 BBL.
Can someone on the forum tell me his/her experience
with the plastick kegs?

There are some other threads on here, but I've been using them for about 9 months and the only issues I've encountered are related to my distros. Some handle them with kid gloves (AB houses) and the kegs are great, some houses apparently have gorillas delivering beer. The issues have been with the 1/2 bbl and Chris has taken care of them right away. We were the first run out of the new factory so that might have been a factor.

The price is great and the technology is sound, I would recommend them.

We have been using them in house since we started brewing (October). We have sent 2 back because of leaks in the Sanke fitting. they were promptly replaced. We have had no other problems with them. They are much lighter than the steel kegs, which is nice. The female bartenders and waitresses can carry a plastic sixtel without problem.
