  • White House homebrew

    I just came across this article. Home brewing at the White House:

    <http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalpunch/2011/02/a-white-house-brewery-white-house-honey-ale.html>

    Don't read the comments. There are way too many idiots in the world...

    That is very cool. The comments were epic too, in a train wreck sort of way

      Would have loved to taste that beer. Noticed that the label was a little angled on the bottle.

        Dear lord, people are stupid. The comments are ... ... ... disappointing.

        I'd like to try a bottle of honey ale. I'm sure it was bottle-conditioned, so it will likely be OK for several months. I wonder if any of the WH chefs are homebrewers?

        Perhaps we should reach out to the WH kitchen -- at least brewers on the East Coast.

          From what I read, one of the WH chefs is in fact a homebrewer. I would love to know a) what the recipe was for the beer and b) where they got their ingredients (other than the honey, of course).
