Alternative for DE filtration

We have a 2sqm Velo DE filter we filter 100 hl each filterrun. But now we would like to upgrade to a new 4 sqm filter to get shorter filterruns which also will give us a colder filtration. But is there a good alternative with less air pickup compared with DE filters? Membrane filtration?

As an alternative to DE filtration you could look out for a small plate-and-frame unit, although again these can be prone to O2 pick-up unless deaerated water is circulated through before using to purge the system.
