Does anyone know of a supplier of HLP media in the UK, or one in the states that will ship to Europe a small amount, say a single 500g tub? From what I can see on www.siebelinstitute.com you can only order 10 x 500g packs at a time.

Check with Brewlab in Sunderland. They can at least tell you who to call if not provide it for you.
