Rockford Brewing Company is looking for an assistant brewer to join the team!
RBC is located in beautiful downtown Rockford, Michigan on the amazing White Pine Trail State Park and just steps away from the beautiful Rogue River known for kayaking and its trout, steelhead and salmon fishing!
Brewing experience is helpful but not necessary. This is a physically labor intensive position! The position will be trained and responsible for all aspects of the brewing process, packaging and dispensing equipment.
Must have:
• Positive attitude
• Strong work ethic
• Self-motivation
• Willingness to learn with an open mind
• Strong social skills
• A passion for the culture of craft beer
• Flexible schedule with some late evenings and weekends
Ability to:
• Communicate effectively with members of the RBC team and house guests
• Work independently, yet with a teamwork attitude
• Multi task
• Lift 55lbs to shoulder height repeatedly
• Take pride in the repetition of cleaning and sanitizing daily
• Work in hot, humid, wet or freezing environments
• Follow written procedures without taking shortcuts
• Occasionally work unpredictably long hours
