Right Proper Brewing Co., opening this fall in Washington DC, is seeking an assistant brewer. We are an independently owned, neighborhood brewpub looking for a dedicated and organized brewer with solid professional experience to work in collaboration with our head brewer. We are looking to maximize production on a 5bbl brew house; mixed fermentation with wild yeast and bacteria will be a strong focus. This is a great opportunity for a disciplined brewer to gain unique and valuable experience. We are willing to offer a competitive salary to the right candidate with potential for growth.
The ideal candidate will possess:
• At least 1 year of professional brewing experience;
• Brewing degree or commensurate understanding of brewing science and engineering;
• Strong mechanical and problem solving skills;
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as a vital member of the team;
