    Job Requirements
    • Candidate has the ability to thrive in a small business environment and is a pivotal member of the team who will support a dynamic growth strategy
    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting. CPA not required
    • Experience in Consumer Products Company; Beverage Company experience preferred
    • Individual with shared values of Honesty and Integrity
    • Ability to generate efficiencies
    • Highly organized, motivated and detail oriented
    • An excellent, persuasive verbal and written communicator who can forge effective relationships

    Job Overview- Accounting
    Hands on accounting and operations management of Dock Street Brewery & Dock Street Brewpub
    Direct preparation of reports that summarize and forecast company business activity to include financial statements, P& L, annual budgets, or reports required by regulatory agencies
    Daily, weekly, monthly cash reconciliation and accountability
    Perform monthly account and cash flow analysis, comparison reports
    Assist in developing and implementing new control procedures and policies
    Maintain insurance companies policies to include business, liquor liability and health insurance
    Prepare for audits
    Maintain Banking relationships and accounts
    Banking reconciliations
    Q/B entry and maintenance
    Payroll preparation and verification with USA Payroll Co.
    Oversee & address Labor Dept. correspondence, maintain employee files, attend unemployment hearings
    Administrate Labor benefits to include 401 K plan
    A/P, A/R, Billing
    Registrations and compliance Federal, State and City agencies
    Licenses compliance
    Tax payments and filing, monthly, quarterly, prepayments
    Prepare for Year-End tax reporting

    Operations
    Assist with hiring, training and growth of the company employees and help identify current and future needs
    Supervise and maintain programs and personnel accountability
    Business Growth Research
    Research and compare current systems, i.e. credit card service companies
    Research suppliers, Price bids, Price comparisons
    Machinery, utilities, construction, cleaning schedules, restaurant and brewery maintenance
    Computer system maintenance
    Inventory Control
